This radiation scare has become blown way out of preportion by the world media. They have ranked it right up there with second hand smoke from cigarettes, Give us a break people. Flash!! A smoker was seen blowing smoke into the air today from his car window at a stoplight, people are advised to sta …
On Tucson and politics, Palin plays by own rules
Thu Jan 13, 2011
These unfortunate shootings were indeed a tragic occurrence, and my heart goes out to all the victims. The sad part of this I think though is the impulsive urge in America now to place blame on anyone and everyone within sight or sound of a bad event. This guy made a conscious decision on his own t …
Should epileptic boy's service dog be allowed in school?
Tue Jan 4, 2011
Sorry, but No dog. I have compassion and empathy for the boy and his family. But when are we going to stop changing every rule in existence for one persons needs? I think the answer is to create more schools to meet special needs of students and leave public schools alone.
Navy relieves officer over lewd videos
Mon Jan 3, 2011
I did not serve and may not have a say, but I will offer you what I think about this story. When the time comes that a sailor, soldier, marine, or any member of any armed service a is not allowed to endulge in having some fun while on or off duty it will be a sad day. I fail to see the need for suc …

We had an explosion many years ago near my home from a methane leak at a local landfill. These gases can form underground, then leak out. Maybe this h …

My 6yr. old son was standing in front of the TV as the news report aired telling about how four of my family members were killed in an automobile accident, (Including our 17 yr. old daughter, my nephew, and …

The mom of a 'princess boy' speaks out
Mon Jan 3, 2011
This is more of a case of children controlling parents than self expression. Just another example of how our society is self destructing itself with what we so loosley label as "Political Correctness."
Does Swiss bank's dress code go too far?
Thu Dec 16, 2010
No, I do not think the dress code goes too far. It reflects the condition of our society now caused by the need to explain "political correctness". It's about time somebody is willing to stand up to those who say: "I should be allowed to do whatever I like anywhere I like" As a civilized society we …
